Rocking R Ginger Garlic Beef Egg Rolls

A perfect little asian flare to use your Rocking R Ground Beef.  You will love the light crispy outside with a ginger garlic ground beef base to make it a complete meal.  We love to serve with homemade fried rice, a cucumber salad, and Sweet Chili Sauce to dip in.  

 

Ingredients

2 lbs Ground Beef

1/4 of an onion, minced

6 oz cremini mushrooms, chopped

1 in ginger, grated

1-2 gloves garlic, minced

2 cups shredded cabbage

4 TBS soy sauce

pepper to taste

egg roll wrappers

sweet chili sauce

 

Directions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet and add ground beef, onion, mushrooms, ginger, garlic until beef is browned.  
  2. Add soy sauce and pepper, taste and adjust as needed.
  3. Mix in shredded cabbage, cook for 2-3 minutes.  Remove from heat.
  4. Lay out egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape as you are looking at it.  Add filling to center, bring up bottom corner to cover filling, then two side corners.  Lightly brush top corner with water, and roll to seal.
  5. Heat olive oil or vegetable oil in a skillet, add egg rolls to pan and cook until lightly golden on each side.  
  6. Remove to paper towel lined plate.  Serve will sweet chili sauce to dip in!
